CareNet
There are so many ways that we can get involved with CareNet in Dickson. Check out the various ways that you can volunteer and help those who are facing a challenging moment. What a great way to show compassion and love.
Second Harvest
There are people here, in Middle Tennessee, who struggle with hunger. There is a need for volunteers. If you’d like to sign-up individually or as a group you can volunteer at their site in the Metro Center in Nashville.
The Ark
The Ark is located in Pegram. They could use volunteers in a couple different areas including: the food pantry, Noah’s Closet, and Meals on Wheels. They have several ways for almost anyone to get involved. Check them out.
CoC Disaster Response Team
Disasters can happen anywhere. The Church of Christ Disaster Response team continually monitors for disasters within the USA. Learn more about the ways you can volunteer with the DRT.
The Help Center
“There are many ways that you and your family or group can be involved in helping your neighbors in their time of need. We can use the help of volunteers for any number of tasks. From sorting and organizing donations, to helping out at the Thrift Store or at one of our fundraising events.”
Local Fire Depts
Almost every fire department in Cheatham and Dickson County relies on volunteers. This may not be your typical way to serve but there’s a lot of ways to help your local fire depts protect our communities. Healing Hands International
This is an organization with many different works including some that you are likely already familiar with including Walk4Water, MAGI boxes, and they help distribute the dresses and pants that our sewing team creates. Check out their website for more ways to get involved.
